Hello Friends I am Deepak Kumar and We Will Learn About This
Article What Is Firewall Explain in Detail And Types of Firewall So Let’s Start
Guy’s.
A Firewall may be a network security device that monitors
incoming and outgoing network traffic and permits or blocks data packets
supported set of security rules. Its purpose is to determine a barrier between
your internal network and incoming traffic from external sources so as to dam
malicious traffic like:- Virus and Hackers.
Basic Diagram of Firewall
There are Five Types of Firewall
1. Packet Filtering Firewall:-It Operates in line at
Junction point where devices such a Router and Switches do their work. Packets
that are flagged as troublesome are generally speaking unceremoniously dropped
that is, they are not forwarded and thus, case to exist.
2. Circuit Level Gateway:- they're established between the
local and remote host to work out whether the session being initiated is
legitimate whether the remote system is taken into account trusted. They do not
inspect the packets themselves.
3. Statefull Inspection Firewall:-It is on the other hand
not only examine each packet, but also keep track of whether or not that packet
is part of an established TCP or other network session.
4. Application Level Gateway:-The kind of device technically
a proxy and sometimes referred as a proxy firewall.
5. Next Generation Firewall:-A typical Next Generation
Firewall (NGFW) combines packet inspection with stateful inspection with
stateful inspection and also includes some variety of deep packet inspection,
as well as other network security systems, like intrusion detection/prevention
malware filtering and antivirus.
